Being a fan of him since hearing his first album, 'Daughtry', it's probably not surprise really that I am featuring him now! And also because I've listened to his recent new album, 'Leave This Town', and it's struck the rocky part of my heart tremendously! His edgy music has softened a little, but in a very good way! Each song is emotional, powerful and overwhelming! Some of the lyrics make me feel like I've been gutted, while others give me a sense of hope that bubbles up from the bottom of my heart. Just from watching this trailer gave me the chills! I think I sat there staring at this gape mouthed from awe, the chills that wouldn't stay away and the gushing thrill of exhilaration! And I love the neat use of MUSE's, "Apocalypse Now", playing in the end bits of the trailer, it fits frighteningly well! :D If you haven't seen this movie and you like horror, this might be worth a watch! ;) I haven't seen the movie, but now I am very tempted... although I dunno if I can see this alone! :D Check the trailer out! ;D

THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: PRINCE CASPIAN

Summary:

The Pevensie siblings return to Narnia, where they are enlisted to once again help ward off an evil king and restore the rightful heir to the land's throne, Prince Caspian.

- WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD! -

I liked the first installment for this sequel, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, so I thought I'd watch the second movie that leads to further adventures for the Pevensie siblings! I'm actually quite pleased to tell you that it seems to live up to its predecessor, although perhaps lonely of a few magical dust.

I think I was also tempted to see Ben Barnes in his performance as Prince Caspian, since at one point everybody was going nuts about him (in a good way, I might add, so I mean no offence here!) :) I saw him once in Easy Virtue and I thought he was superb! :D

I liked the fact that it had a darker and mature feel to the movie, far different from the first movie, which was full of light-heartedness! Of course, the late appearance of Aslan might have the been the reason why it seemed sadder in this movie, but the reality that meets the Pevensie's might have been even more harsher.

Best Attributes of the Movie:

- CGI (Looks very believable! The talking animals look real!)

- Score (Breathtaking!)

- Cast (The acting was well-done! :D)

- Location (Stunning and very Narnia-ish!)

- Costumes (It fits perfectly with the essence of the story!)

Storywise, I think this was a wonderful fairytale, although for a Disney movie, it had darker undertones cast across it.

DOLLHOUSE - SEASON ONE

I am astonished... This episode, it just blew me away. Ever since watching Dollhouse, I've always had a sense of voidness because at some point the show never gives away all the answers (which is also fun in some way, cause it keeps you guessing and craving for more episodes! :D lol!). So after watching this, I feel like I've eaten a huge cake of spoilers that I've deliciously consumed! I'm still confused though, lol.

Let me explain what happens in the episode...

(I'm gonna explain as best I can from what I remember. Please forgive me if I leave out some details...)

SUMMARY:

(Warning.. Contains Spoilers!)

In the near future of 2019, everybody is imprinted with memories and a human mind that is not their own. Or worse, has been sucked out of its original body. Six survivors (I think?) are trying to get through the fallen city unharmed and their memories/self intact. The survivors are three men and two women, with a little girl included. (One of the men has already been un-imprinted, you could say. He's just a walking dummy...) They stumble across the Dollhouse mansion and find a way to get to the truth of the problem, by picking up the pieces of what had happened...

The new scenario that Joss Whedon had created in 'Epitaph One' really chilled my bones, mostly because I didn't expect it! I have to admit, when I saw the first part of the episode, it reminded me of 'Termiator: Salvation' (which, I know, is not in anyway related, lol). The actors that play the survivors make the whole feel of the episode believable, and you can relate to them if you imagine yourself in their shoes. The actress who plays the little girl is also really talented! I was astonished! :D Overall, this episode rocked! I think its the best out of all the episodes of Dollhouse! It has a bittersweet ending though, and it left me craving more! I warn you though, some parts are depressing though. But its worth watching cause it's really well done! And as you might have already noticed, it includes LOADS of SPOILERS! :P

- BEST BITS of the EPISODE -

- 2019: Post-Apocalyptic scenario

- Dollhouse operation going wildly out of control, causing normal civilians and others to be imprinted

- Having to survive this world where anyone can be imprinted with a mind that has been stolen from its original body

- How one mind can be shared in many other dolls

- The entangled different relationships between the dolls and the crew of the Dollhouse Mansion

- Whiskey's appearance and how she helps the survivors find a way to Safe Haven

- The surprising twist of who the killer is that lurks in the Mansion

- The cliffhanger that leaves us with what happens to the remaining three survivors (Echo/Caroline included)

- UNEXPLAINED BITS -

- Who the woman was that was imprinted in the little girl's body

- How Whiskey had ended up in the mansion, alone and half-crazed (Echo/Caroline did mention that she stayed there of her own free will.. Still, its confusing.)

They turned it around completely! :D It looks action-packed, the sound effects added suspense to the trailer and the whole eerie feel of forbidden is emanating out of it (which makes it even more awesome!) This colorful and charming world is spellbinding to the eyes, and it definitely looks like it will be real hit! :) Check it out!

I cannot express in words how excited I am to see this book-to-movie adaptation come to life! I've been a huge fan of the books for so long, and Darren Shan is part of the reason I fell for the vampire genre (I didn't even know what 'Twilight' was! XD lol!)! The cast is awesome, although they are not exactly the kind of that I imagined in my head, but great nonetheless! :) It's a funny, entertaining trailer - you might get the funky, fun vibe though. Be warned though! It's not all bubbly stuff. The books get darker and darker... Sorry, getting off track, lol. Check the trailer out! ;)

I'm so excited for this movie! I'd seen a snippet of clips for it, and now that its pieced back whole into this genuine trailer, I'm stunned by how good it looks! I haven't read the book, but now I want to after watching this movie trailer! It does have its small cliches, but life is full of unexpected similarities (and differences too). I think I sympathized with the character, Mike. The two music that was used, the first one being 'You Found Me' by The Fray and the second being 'Pieces' by RED, was so fitting, I couldn't help but feel my heart move. The whole theme of redemption, overcoming obstacles, mother's love really got to me! I am definitely looking forward to seeing this! Check it out!

What can I say? This is bleepin' EPIC! I'm extremely excited about this movie! I'm a huge fan of Tim Burton's works and Timur Bekmambetov's works (Night Watch and Day Watch is my favorite movies!) The story looks very intriguing, the graphics are amazing, the voices seem to fit really well with the characters (from the little I can see from the trailer), and overall it looks very original! It's definitely something I'm looking forward to seeing! :)

The end song called 'Welcome Home' by Coheed and Cambria mixes perfectly with the theme and suspenseful editing of the trailer! (That's got to be one of my favorite songs of all time!) It makes the movie look even more enthralling! Check it out! :D

You didn't think I'd miss posting the trailer here, would you? I'm a huge Twilight fanatic (although I'm not the obsessive Robert Pattinson Obsessive Disorder-ed Fan -coughs and rolls eyes nervously-) ever since reading the book version of this very movie, NEW MOON! :) I'm psyched about the movie because I really liked the first movie, I thought it was very well done! :D The trailer definitely looks promising, the pain Bella is going through after losing Edward is portrayed rather well! If you haven't check this trailer out already, do so! ;) You might actually like it even if you are Twilight-allergic!

(Although I am tagging this with a WARNING, just in case you are the kind that gets burned with Twili-geric things!)

I just couldn't resist! I loved the book and I cried really hard (which is rare!) It has such a lovely, unique story and you can't help but feel close to the main characters. :) I hope that the movie will maintain to hold the same magic of the book! :) I have a feeling I won't be disappointed! ;) Check the trailer out! :D

DISNEY MOVIES

Can you feel the Magic? :)

Ahh, Disney! It brings back so many memories from childhood. I think everybody whose been watching Disney as a kid is probably thinking the same thing too though, huh? :) In a way, Disney's animated movies helped me grow up and understand things about life earlier. It was sort of like my second parent of sorts, apart from Sesame Street, lol! In every movie, there is hope and wonder, magic and brilliance, light and happiness! Even if something drastically bad happens, Disney's movies always ends happily. That's one of the things that make me want to watch Disney sometimes! :)

Even today, when I see Disney animated movies, I can feel the magic that mysteriously never fades nor ages. And I know it will never be lost!

I love many of the music that is sung in the movies and I can actually sing along to quite a lot of them! :) I think I owe it to these movies for being able to learn my English very well!

I have so many favorite movies when it comes down to Disney, but my ultimate favorites will be: Pocahontas, Lion King, Tarzan, Mulan, Atlantis, Hercules, Beauty and the Beast, Brother Bear, The Little Mermaid and Bambi! :)

(I love many more others though! But these are my particular favorites! :D)

I'll always be looking forward to seeing more from Disney, especially PIXAR, which now seems to be more active right now! :) I love every movie that they have made! I actually went quite nuts on Finding Nemo at some point! :D I just couldn't get enough of Dory! :) lol!

I guess what I want to say here, seeing as I'm feeling sorta sentimental and grateful, is THANK YOU to everyone that makes DISNEY a great inspiration and delight! :) Thank you, thank you, thank you! :)

If you like goth, rock metal music that has some symphonic edge to them, then this is the music you definitely have to hear once in your lifetime! For one thing, their music is really EPIC! Each song manages to convey the emotions of a story that is told through their lyrics. :) They may sound alike to some of the artists you might have heard (Evanescence, Within Temptation and Nightwish), but they are just as unique and inspiring in their musical talents! Summary:

'The Cake Eaters' is a quirky, small town, ensemble drama that explores the lives of two interconnected families coming to terms with love in the face of loss. Living in rural America, The Kimbrough family is a normally odd bunch; Easy, the patriarch and local butcher, is grieving over the recent loss of his wife, Ceci, while hiding a secret ongoing affair for years; Beagle, his youngest son who was left to care for his ailing mother, works in the local high school cafeteria by day but has a burning passion inside that manifests itself through painting street signs; and the eldest son, Guy, has been away from the family for years while pursuing his rock star dream in the big city until the day he learns of his mother's passing and that he's missed the funeral. Upon Guy's return home, relationships between the characters begin to unravel; Beagle's pent up emotions connect with Georgia Kaminski, a terminally ill teenage girl wanting to experience love before it's too late; Easy's long time affair with Marg, Georgia's eccentric grandmother, is finally exposed to the Kimbrough children; and Guy discovers that, in his absence, his high school sweetheart, Stephanie, has moved on and started a family of her own. Okay, let me be honest. I watched this movie because I am a fan of Kirsten Stewart. I know what you're thinking, but it's not true. I didn't start to like her after watching Twilight. No, I saw her first in Panic Room and from then, I was captivated by her performances. So it was a lovely surprise to see her take on another challenging role in this movie. :)

This movie for me was pretty slow, but it was calming. It gives you the feel of a small town living. The idea and characters slowly start to settle in around you. I thought the music added a little needed touch to the drama that goes on between the small ensemble of characters. The relationships that brew between two couples, both connecting in a peculiar way, is lovely and yet it could also be unsettling. But life can be complicated, and this movie has tried to convey it the best way it can.

The elements of loneliness, freedom and understanding really melted into me upon seeing how the lives of these characters criss cross together. But even if these connected lines get distorted, they are mended. Perhaps not in the same shape that it once was, but healed nonetheless. I think The Cake Eaters did a good job of conveying that.

The movie itself was well made, the story may have been slow-paced but quite fitting. The acting was superbly done. The lighting was subtle but keenly noted and revealed. Overall, I think this is a good watch.

This movie is rated R for some language and sexual material involving a teen.

I think there's just one thing I can say about their music, especially their new album, 'FANGS'. They are abstract musicians, that perfect the rough edges of their puzzles like a piece of cake. (Okay, did you get that? No, uh, sorry then, lol.) It's fresh and exciting! It has a beat that makes you want to dance, and yet sometimes you can just sit & listen to the beat like a meditation. :) The lyrics are fascinating. Check them out! :D

When I first heard his songs today, I thought they were wonderful. The lyrics he sings are very emotional and thoughtful.
